The Sweet Darkness of Miss Christine Wu

The work of Christine Wu (website: http://misschristinewu.com)  really resonates with me. Like a relentless echo.

In fact, her work depicts life as a force dislocated by time.

That's how I see it, anyway. Doesn't mean I'm right. In every sense, this is vital art that commands attention.

The dead linger with the living, and are often the same. The emotions are deep and raw.

Truly sublime this.  The violence. The focus.

Dislocated grotesquerie. An erotic jigsaw.

Christine has a showing of her work at the Luis De Jesus Gallery (in Los Angeles) from February 3, 2012.
