Top 10 of 2010 (in no order)

Runners-Up:

The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Wolfman
I Am Love
Black Swan
The Secrets in Their Eyes
The American
The Town
Kick-Ass
Valhalla Rising
Dogtooth
 Rabbit Hole

I'm deliberately refraining from writing about these as much has already been written about them during their release periods.

All are amazing and well worth your time and dollars.

  1. MIA--The Ghost Writer. I enjoyed it more that The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series, which imo, is overrated. Winter's Bone--meh to okay, The Wolfman I enjoyed, but not a very good movie. Kick Ass sucked big time though I enjoyed the comic. I enjoyed How To Train Your Dragon too.

  2. El -- the end of ghost writer was ridiculous. I loved the rest, tho. how to train your dragon -- not a huge fan.

  3. Phantom, you dont like mainstream movies do you. By the way, "Kick-Ass" was specifically and only made for geezers who desperately want to get their knobs up Chloe Morents bum (i`m one of those geezers obviously). The time of "LIES, HYPOCRISY AND SEXUAL REPRESSION" what a hideous time in history to have been born into.

Phantom, for more proof (if any were really needed) of what a hideously sexually repressed society we live in seek out the 1971 British made (unfortunately) film "Revenge" with Joan Collins. By the way, whenever i watch the film i like to imagine i am the Kenneth Griffith character because he represents the truth that the rest of us are in denial about.

  7. Did you love Black Swan? I guess I'm the only one who didn't. I think it should be titled TWO HOURS OF NATALIE PORTMAN LOOKING ANXIOUS.

  8. Anonymous -- yes, she did look anxious, but that's one of the reasons I liked it. It made me tense.
