In Celebration of Balance and Opposable THUMBS, artist Matt Hall discusses how he thought he was looking at a Francis Bacon painting when someone gave him a flier with one of Sorren's creation on it.
It's not out of possibility's realm that someone could make that mistake.

Sorren's treatment of of human shapes and affection for the grotesque is
Bacon-esque, although his flights into pure fantasy and melancholy are unique.
