Sunday the 15th: The Return of Pulpy Porn

The most honest literature in America returns...

Clearly, my Catholic school days lacked spice.

Another strong argument for keeping porn imagery semi-attired.

One wasn't enough?

Someone can't read.

Opportunism is the lifeblood of pornographic behavior.

These days you get arrested for just driving past a school.

A sign of the times.

Some women CAN have it all!

And porno goes political!

  1. I have often wondered about the trend of having two victims in a story. I used to think it was to set up a sort of morality play where two different fates happen depending on the behaviors of the victims. Now that I am older and much more cynical, I think there are two girls just so that the victims will have someone to talk to about their plight.

I love how the last book has 'Prison Camp Books' in the top left corner. Now that would be an interesting line of books.

  2. Good theory.

I think it's also a case of marketing -- two of anything is always better than one.

The 'Prison Camp Books' series is quite a large series and seemed to edge towards increasingly more controversial and "offensive" material.
