Dandelion Wine

Not only a favorite book of mine from a favorite author, but a favorite piece of cover artwork. It is beautiful!

By the talented Peter Goodfellow, it evokes a time, a place, and a mood -- and conveys the presence of dark deeds with poetic precision.

From the 1987 Panther Books (UK) edition.

Dandelion Wine was first published in 1957.

  1. Great cover art, hadn't seen it before. Definitely a fave of mine as well. I've got the book BRADBURY: AN ILLUSTRATED LIFE and it has *lots* of his book covers showcased.

  2. I didn't have the Bradbury book, Will, so I just ordered it. It sounds like a treat! As I prepped this post, I did think that's it's one that 'Will' will like.

  3. What a great cover!

I've been reading his "Zen and the Art of Writing" this week.

    I'm in a Bradbury mood...

I totally understand a 'Bradbury Mood'. Bradbury is a way of seeing.
